Help take back our back yards from the chemical industry
by joining the CFK "I’m Fine with Dandelions" campaign

To the manufacturers of herbicides the presence of dandelions is merely another excuse to permeate suburban landscapes with their toxic products by mischaracterizing these benign and beautiful plants as noxious weeds and spreading dire warnings about the dangers of permitting them to take root.

As surely as spring follows winter, you can expect it to be accompanied by a barrage of messages that the dandelion is actually an unsightly nuisance best eradicated by using chemical weapons. And, once again, many homeowners will opt to coat their lawns with poison lest they be shunned by neighbors for allowing the monotone of green to be marred by a single spot of yellow.

All of which, perhaps, might be nothing more than a matter of personal choice if it didn’t pose a distinct and unnecessary danger to both our children’s health and our environment.

That’s why here at Chemical-Free Kids, we’d like to welcome spring by announcing the launch of an "I’M FINE WITH DANDELIONS" campaign – and invite all our fans to join.

Together, maybe we can help in putting an end to this toxic assault on some of our best friends in the plant kingdom.

One way you can show your support for this effort, is by ordering an "I'm Fine With Dandelions" organic cotton tee as pictured below. Then stay tuned to Chemical-Free Kids, on the Web or on Facebook, for updates on the campaign and other suggestions for participating.
